What do I need to order my eyeglass lenses?
Placing an order with Optic Clear is easy and direct. All that are needed would be your prescription, your pupillary distance (P.D.) and your frame or eyewear for us to fabricate your eyeglass lenses. If you have specific requirements, please state clearly when you make your order. We will process according to your requests.
Why Optic Clear does not offer any eyeglass frame for selection?
Optic Clear has a history of fabricating eyeglass lenses for our customers and we intend to keep it this way for the moment. We do not rule out the possibilities of introducing reliable frame to our customers in the coming future. At the moment, this is what we do best.
I do not have an eyeglass frame but I have specific brand and model in mind. Can you order for me?
You are our valuable customers and we would like to make your order as easy as possible. Let us know the details of the frame and we will try to locate and give you a quote.
When can I send my frame?
Once an order is made we will process your order and send an email to you with all the details that you need to send your frame to us.
How long for my eyeglasses to be ready for shipment?
Upon receiving your frame, we will process your order immediately. This might take about 3 to 4 business days for normal range lenses. Custom made and Special lenses might take slightly longer time to complete.
Are my eyeglasses safe to ship?
All the eyeglass lenses are fabricated according to your frame, prescription and P.D. that you supplied to us. They will be fitted and secured nicely to your frame. Before shipment, our qualified optician will thoroughly inspect the eyeglass lenses to verify the prescription and the alignment of the frame. Eyeglasses are placed back to your case with a special cleaning cloth for protection. Your old lenses removed from your frame will be returned to you. We will package all items so that they are safe for shipping.
When do I receive my order?
Usually the shipping will take about 5 to 10 business days to reach your designated address depending on your location. If you opt for courier service, the duration can be reduced to about 2 to 5 working days.

I have been wearing contact lens. Can I use my contact lens prescription to order my eyeglass lenses?
No. You should not use your contact lens prescription to order your lenses.
How do I prevent from making mistakes when entering an order? How do I correct such mistakes?
When Optic Clear receives your order, an email is sent to you to verify some of the details including your prescription and PD. Upon confirmation from you, we will start fabrication. Just in case you made some errors in your prescription, you have to inform us by email as soon as possible. Most important, always double check your prescription and P.D. before submitting to us.
Can I order eyeglass lenses with no prescription?
Yes. As a matter of fact, some of our customers ordered our products with no prescription at all. Kindly enter PLANO for the sphere (SPH) power.
My Pupillary Distance (P.D.) has more than one number. What should I select?
You have to clearly indicate and make a note when you order your eyeglass lenses and submit the numbers to us. Kindly print the numbers exactly as shown in your prescription.
What is segment height and how do I take the measurement?
If you order progressive lenses you need to give us the segment height. Kindly use the frame that you are going to send and take a measurement. We need the vertical height from the bottom of the frame to the center of your eyeball (focusing point) when you are wearing. The measurement in millimeters(mm) does not include the thickness of your frame. This is to ensure that the lenses are in position when you are wearing the glasses.
In my prescription, there is no number in CYL or AXIS or ADD. How should I order?
If there is no number indicated, you might not need them. As CYL and AXIS are for astigmatism correction, blank or no number in these columns indicate that you do not have astigmatism. ADD power is for people who have different prescriptions for distance and near vision. Enter the numbers only when indicated in your prescriptions.
Do I need adjustment when I receive my eyeglasses?
Under normal circumstance, we try not to alter the state of your frame unless you have indicated in your order. We will only fit a new pair of lenses to your existing frame.
Do you ship to PO Box?
Yes. We do ship to PO Box for standard shipping but not for courier service. Courier service requires you to have a physical address.
